Even before COVID Indoor Air Quality was becoming an increasingly important factor. HVAC within buildings is a sizeable contributor to the overall energy bill and therefore paramount to reducing consumption within an Estate.

Particulate matter can affect respiratory function in people but also cause equipment malfunction in sensitive areas like Data Centres where dust particles can block filters etc.

Water consumption is a critical requirement but often overlooked or ignored when compared to electricity/gas initiatives.

Measuring water consumption and monitoring leak detection can improve an Estates sustainability but water flow and temperature are essential parameters where there are a lot of unoccupied buildings with relation to Legionella and flushing through of pipes.
