Power Quality

When undertaking an Estate related energy efficiency programme, MPL considers Power Quality to be of equal importance to consumption or kWh usage. Whilst Power quality is often considered to be somewhat of a complicated subject, simple monitoring of Power Quality and subsequent actions can result in substantial savings, both short and long term.

Consideration should be given to Power Quality characteristics such as transients, power factor, phase balancing and harmonics. MPL provides scalable Power Quality solutions across the entire data centre EPMS.
